How Project Afternight Rewards Unlock

Project: Afternight does not drip cosmetics through a daily code. It drips them through charts. If you came from the codes hub expecting a redeem box, this page is the mechanic that actually fills your locker.

The standard unlock rule

Most animations, emotes, noteskins, notesplashes, and many icon packs share one checklist:

• Finish the source song or any song in the source tab (the shop row tells you which).
• Hit at least 70% accuracy.
• Play at 1x rate or faster. Slowing the chart below 1x usually does not count.
• Leave modcharts enabled and special notes enabled. Turning those off to cheese a pass often voids the drop.

A toast at the bottom of the screen confirms the unlock. If nothing pops, you probably dipped under 70%, used a rate below 1x, or played a cover/fan chart that is not the listed requirement.

Song-specific versus tab-wide

Shop rows are not all equal.

• Song-specific: Skid and Pump need a pass on Spookeez or South from the original Friday Night Funkin tab. Libitina-style noteskins can demand one named chart.
• Tab-wide: Many noteskins and splashes unlock if you beat any song in that mod with the standard checklist.
• Difficulty-locked: A few mania or 9-key charts (Shaggy God Mode, certain Matt rows) only count on the listed difficulty. Easy will not substitute.
• Default unlocked: Some packs ship free because the matching mod is not in the build yet. Those can lock later when the tab arrives.

Tags, badges, and custom icons

Tags are not bought with points. They usually ask for a strong pass on the hardest or most iconic song of a tab — Full Combo or a named difficulty. Examples from the live client include Club Member on Doki Doki, Escapist on Piggy, and Prime as a name suffix from ULTRAKILL. Badge hunters should also know Roblox badges such as Where’d They Go? (70% with Fade In and Fade Out on a chart of at least 175 notes) and Randomizer (Inverse Notes + Random Note Scale + Randomize Chart + Random Scroll Invert).

Custom icon uploads are a different grind: 50 unique song Full Combos. The image layout matches Psych Engine (neutral / losing / winning, 150×150 to 450×150). See custom icons.

What does not grant rewards

• Botplay / autoplay that never posts a real accuracy. Some scripts skip leaderboard and PFC credit; they also skip shop toasts. Read autoplay scripts and script safety before you assume a farm is working.
• Playing below 1x, with modcharts off, or on a practice rate the shop does not accept.
• Invented coin codes. Those are covered on fake codes.
• Cross-game badges unless the patch notes say so. The Blox Cards collab is the exception: a PAFN FC on a Blox Cards OST song can unlock a card on their side, and their badge can unlock shop extras on yours. Track that on the updates hub.

A practical farm route

New accounts should not open Insane on day one. Use Getting Started to find a speaker, then How to Play to pick Easy/Normal charts in the original FNF tab. Those songs unlock a pile of default-adjacent cosmetics and teach the HUD. After that, pick one mod you actually like from the mods tier list and clear its Easy/Normal ladder so the shop fills with that aesthetic.

If you are hunting a specific animation, search the shop, read the requirement, then open that chart — do not wander the island hoping a random 1v1 drops it. Versus still counts if you meet the accuracy/rate rules, but a toxic 4v4 is a bad farm. Solo or a bot opponent is cleaner. Versus modes explains when to leave a stage.

Keep audio on. PAFN is a rhythm game; mute-farming accuracy is how people sit at 68% forever. Pair this page with accuracy and FC and settings if your passes look good on video and still refuse to unlock.
