Project Afternight Community Resources
Funkipedia, the customization doc, icon templates — and the content farms you can close.
Official news is Roblox, X, and Discord. Everything below is community. Useful, sometimes outdated, never a substitute for the live shop tooltip. Parent hub: links.
Funkipedia
The Funkipedia Mods Wiki hosts Project: Afternight and a Shop subpage. It is the largest public character/animation table. It is also frequently tagged outdated (Blox Cards collab notes, missing Eye of Corruption rows). Use it to remember an unlock requirement you already saw, not as a patch note. In-game search always wins. Mods hub.
Shop items marked red there are treated as unobtainable. If the live shop still sells it, believe the client.
Customization Google Doc
Chaotix and other contributors maintain an Afternight Customization Guide (Google Doc linked from the settings video). It covers shop search, animation preview, bot equip colors, noteskins, and Bloxstrap-related options. When PAFN’s settings tree moves, the doc lags, then catches up. Pair it with settings and shop unlocks.
Icon / combo templates
The same community published PSDs for rating, combo, and icon strips. You want those after 50 unique FCs. Specs and hygiene: custom icons. Do not download a .exe “icon installer.”
Video explainers we already embed
- Launch overview — Getting Started
- Settings marathon — settings
- Launch shop dump — shop unlocks
- Classic Resurrections — that update page
- Mania keys — keybinds
We embed one real YouTube ID per page. If a thumbnail looks useful but the ID is fake, it will not appear here.
Sportskeeda / beginner blogs
Third-party beginner articles (Sportskeeda, Filibuster, clones) recycle the same WASD table. They are fine as a confirmation that E interacts with speakers. They are not fine as a codes source. Several still describe a tiny song library from 2024. Trust How to Play and the live tab list.
Script indexes
Public script indexes exist. We document snippets on autoplay without turning this resources page into an advertising wall. Key-system landing pages are malware-adjacent. Script safety.
What to skip
- Any “working codes August 2026” table with coins. Fake codes.
- Sites that think PAFN is a horror survival game (wrong genre, scraped description).
- INDEV place IDs from 2023 videos.
- AI wikis that still say replace this placeholder.
When a resource dies, we will not keep a 404 for nostalgia. When a resource is wrong, we will say so on the page that query actually needs — usually codes, shop, or updates.
If you want a visual of the shop at a specific patch, Chaotix’s long dumps (launch cosmetics, Madness Hits anims, Classic Resurrections shop) are better than a blog gallery. We already embed one of those per relevant wiki page so you are not hunting IDs. Do not paste a second embed into a guide — the generator only wants one video in the middle.
Rolimons and similar stat sites are fine for visit counts and CCU, not for unlock recipes. A 91% like ratio does not tell you whether Skid and Pump still want South. The shop tooltip does.
When two community docs disagree, rank them: live client, then Discord, then Funkipedia, then a Google Doc, then a 2024 beginner article. This wiki tries to sit just under Discord: slower than a sneak peak, faster than a Fandom table that still says Update 1.9 in the header.
Use community docs to go faster. Use the client to go correct.
