Which tabs are worth a week of shop hunting — and which are jumpscare traps.
PAFN’s identity is accurate FNF mods on Roblox, not a tiny licensed OST. This tier list ranks tabs as experiences: authenticity, readability, shop payoff, and whether you should enable flashes first. Song-level difficulty is on the song tier list. Names and characters sit on the mods hub.
S — Play these tabs for the real client
Friday Night Funkin (base weeks) is still the tutorial that happens to be a mod tab. Well-maintained accuracy ports with working event animations — the stuff Chaotix and Funkipedia document — are why people left other RoFNF games. If a tab looks like the PC Psych file and the shop row names the original song, it is doing the job Dawndreamer advertised.

A — High payoff, some homework
Big-name weeks that are famous on PC: Mario’s Madness (bring accessibility settings), Doki Doki Takeover, Shaggy / Matt if you like extra keys later, ULTRAKILL OST if you want tags like Prime, 17 Bucks if you like dense funk comedy. Shop rows here are the reason people grind 70%. Read shop unlocks before you promise a full tab clear in one night.
A-tier is also where versus clips happen. Do not surprise a beginner with Demise. Versus.
B — Music first, story second
Pure OST tabs (Persona, Undertale, Pizza Tower, Camellia, Leaf, Fortnite, Terraria Calamity, Arknights, Blue Archive, and the ever-growing Misc. piles). Great for ears, uneven for charts. Some files are S-tier readable; some are C-tier walls hiding in a calm album name. Sample Easy first.
B-tier is a healthy FC farm because you can pick mid-BPM tracks without a week structure. Accuracy and FC.
C — Gimmick, horror, or unfinished feel
Gore-heavy or jumpscare tabs, experimental one-shots, and files that still feel like beta even by PAFN standards. Play them when you want that specific shop anim, not as a default queue. Turn flashes down. The Roblox warning is for this letter.
C also includes tabs whose unlocks are difficulty-locked in a mean way (mania-only anims). Check the tooltip. How rewards work.
D — Not a starter tab
18-key showcases, joke files, and anything you only opened because a thumbnail said “IMPOSSIBLE.” Entertainment. Not a learning path. Keybinds if you still try.
How PAFN differs from Funky Friday (for ranking)
Funky Friday is the bigger Roblox FNF product with a points shop. PAFN trades that for play-to-unlock and port accuracy. If a ranking site treats them as the same game, ignore the cosmetics column. There are no codes to reroll a tab. Codes hub.
A practical week plan
- Base FNF tab until 70% is free.
- One A-tier story week you actually like.
- One B-tier OST album for FC variety.
- Whatever Eye of Corruption just added, on Easy, to see the new art.

Mod lists on Funkipedia are huge and often marked outdated. Believe the in-game tab list after a patch more than a wiki table from last year. We will not paste 400 mod names here just to look complete. Search in-game, then come back to this letter grade.
When a collab lands, it starts as S or A because people will queue it in versus whether it is ready or not. Be the player who read Eye of Corruption first.
