Afternight Songs Hub

Project: Afternight has a catalog problem. Nearly 4,000 charts means the wrong song pick wastes an evening and unlocks nothing. This hub is the entry point to every song-specific page: difficulty tiers, key counts, hardest charts, and how to search a list that size without going mad.

The hardest songs page has the full difficulty tier breakdown. 5-key songs and 6-key songs cover the mid-key ladder. Song tier list covers the teaching ranking. This hub connects them.

How song search actually works

Open the song selection UI. Tabs across the top split the catalog by mod or source. Use the search bar inside the tab — not the global Roblox search. If you know the song name, search it directly. If you are browsing, open a tab and scroll. Random 4v4 picks are how people end up on a 12-key file they never asked for.

The tab list includes official FNF weeks, individual mod tabs (Mario’s Madness, Pibby, Shaggy, etc.), OST collections, and catch-all categories like Misc. FNF and Misc. Other. Eye of Corruption added new entries to several of these tabs.

Key counts you will actually encounter

  • 4K — the standard. Default binds work. Most of the catalog.
  • 5K — the first real transition. Needs a fifth key bound.
  • 6K — common in mid-tempo FNF ports. Two-hand layout required.
  • 8K–18K — mania territory. Not default content; you have to open those tabs.

The keybinds page covers what to do before each of these loads in a versus match.

What the difficulty labels mean

Easy, Normal, Hard, Insane are the in-game labels. They are not consistent across tabs. A Hard in one mod may play like an Easy in another. Use the song tier list as your real difficulty filter, not the label.

Rate modifiers (1x, 2x, etc.) change playback speed. Rate above 1x still counts for shop unlocks. Rate below 1x usually does not.

Finding new songs after a patch

Eye of Corruption added over 600 new songs in August 2026. The fastest way to find them: open the Misc. FNF or Misc. Other tabs and sort by new. Do not trust YouTube comment sections as a tracklist — play Easy once to confirm a file before committing to it in versus.

Songs and progression

Songs are how you unlock everything in PAFN. Beat a chart at 70% accuracy at 1x with modcharts on, and the associated shop row animates. That is the entire economy. There is no coin code, no Robux pass, no points shop. The reward for playing is playing.

For the full unlock rules, see how rewards work. For shop navigation, see shop unlocks.

Using this hub

Start with the hardest songs if you want to understand difficulty tiers before picking. Start with the 5-key or 6-key pages if you are expanding your key count. Use the song tier list as a filter for what to queue in versus. Then go play one file until it stops feeling hard.
